Commencement of the academic year 2022-2023
The school opened for the new academic year 2022-2023, on 6th June 2022. The Manager and Principal along with the staff warmly welcomed the students back to a new academic year in a very gracious and prayerful atmosphere.
On this beautiful day the Winners families together welcomed the newcomers to the world of knowledge with variety of programmes and entertaining items.
Academic Results
A good number of developments have taken place in this academic year. It is very happy to see that the students of the school grow daily through the formation to the world of knowledge. The quality of teaching and the training make the school students excel in the academic matters. It is a testimony that everyone can see in the result of last years. The school excelled in the result with 100 %, seven of the students scoring above 90% and the others with distinction. It is always exciting to see that the students from our school come out with flying colours.
Twenty five students appeared for the class X CBSE Board Exam and four of the students, namely Ananthakrishna C A, RamdevVimal, Aryan K G and Jyothilakshmi Anil made a remarkable victory of full A+.
PTA
The PTA is an active wing of the school and it works for the betterment of the institution through their unstinted support, co operation and decision making. This year the PTA was formed in the general PTA meeting. The PTA meeting elected the PTA President, MPTA Chairperson. 22 PTA Executive members were selected from General Body.
School Parliament Election and Investiture Ceremony
In order to create democratic awareness in students the school conducted general school parliament elections on 18th July, 2022 on the lines of General Elections prevailing in the country. Following students were elected for the different positions
1. Master Abhiram V S. – School Head Boy
2. Kumari. Nandana Sudheesh– Head Girl
3. Master. Gokul Siby – Arts &Sports Secretary
On 16th September 2022, Winners public school held its investiture ceremony. Dr. Satheesh Varier vested powers to the newly elected office bearers and inaugurated the Arts Day program. Master Abhiram V S of class X as the Head Boy, Kumari. Nandhana Sudheesh of class IX as the Head Girl and Master.Gokul Siby from class IX the Arts Club Secretary, along with House Captains were honored with badges and sashes by Dr.Satheesh Varier.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Co-curricular activities are an essential part of school life and help in enhancing the
learning process of students at school. Keeping this in mind Co-curricular activities are
held on Tuesdays where children are given coaching by experts in respective fields.
Children are given training in:

• Violin
• Dance
• Yoga
• Keyboard
• Drums
Orientation programme for Teachers
To update the new teaching methodology for the teachers, different training programs were conducted. The Principal and staff attended various in-service training programmes to equip themselves with modern tools and techniques of education.
Open House
School organizes class wise open house. It is an open platform for parents and students for discussion and analysis of the achievements of the students. The students are also given an opportunity to explain and discuss their method of studies. Online open house for KG students was conducted on November 14th as it was the day dedicated for children. The next Open House was on 8th April 2021 and it was the final evaluation of the students pertaining to their all-round performance.
Celebrations
The school celebrated different festivals to give fraternity, new knowledge and to foster communal harmony. The Environment Day celebrated on 5th June 2022 was the best among them. School Operations Manager, Sri Pradeep K R inaugurated the function and gave the message of the day. Nature conservation day was celebrated on July 29th and saplings were planted in the school premises. Teacher’s day celebration on 5th September 2022 gave a variety entertainment. Onam celebration was an occasion to traverse the mythological tradition of Kerala. The Kerala Piravi was celebrated on November 1st. On November 14thChildren’s Day was celebrated with a special assembly by K G students. Christmas celebration filled the school with jingle bells and Santa Claus and the angels shared the joy and wishes of the season to all. The message was given by Very Rev.Fr. Suresh OFM Cap.
Arts and Sports Celebrations
The Arts and sports celebrations are memorable days in the history of Winners Public School. It is an opportunity to express the talents of the students through various competitions. The Arts day was conducted on September 17th. The function was inaugurated by Dr.Satheesh Varier, Thodupuzha. The students fully involved in the Art festival. Sports day was conducted on 21st October. Circle Inspector of Police, Karmannoor, Sri. Sumesh Sudhakaran flagged off the sports events. The energetic participation of the students in the sports meet created an atmosphere of healthy competition among the students and many talented buds bloomed in the sports field and won the medals. Winners Public School promotes importance of sports events to the students with equal priority to the academic as per the CBSE norms.
Sahodaya Competitions
The record victory achieved by our students in Central Kerala Sahodaya Kalotsav is appreciable. Our 16 students secured good positions in all categories.

Children’s Day
It was a special day for students. A special assembly was conducted by the KG students. Children’s day is a special vocation to remember Nehru’s love and concern for children. Little kids presented variety programs.
Vimukthi - Anti Narcotic Campaign
Vimkthi is a de-addiction movement started by the Excise Department of Kerala. As a part of the campaign against drugs, Circle Inspector of police, Karimannoor Sri. Sumesh Sudhakaran conducted an orientation class for our students in Winners Public School.
Commemoration day
An Eye care medical Camp was conducted at School Auditorium jointly by Winners Public School and Fathima Eye Care Hospital for the students, parents and also for the people around Karimannoor. A function was arranged in Commemoration of Sri. M P Vijayanathan, Late School Manager and Founder of Winners Public School. The meeting was inaugurated by Hon. Member of Parliament from Idukki, Sri. Dean Kuriakose. More than 200 persons were consulted and have got free medical advice on that day.
Study Tour
It is an extension and escape from class room learning. It was a travel to widen our knowledge by seeing and experiencing the new horizons. KG to grade 1and 2 students visited Lulu Mall Ernakulam. Grade3 to 8 students visited Silver Storm Water theme Park Athirapilly. Grade 9 and Grade10 students. Tour destination was Mysore and Kodak.
Graduation Ceremony
It was an extremely important day for U K G students. 27 of our students completed their Kindergarten studies and graduated for grade 1. The graduation ceremony was inaugurated by the School Operations Manager Mr. Pradeep K R and conveyed the key note address.
Parent Teacher Meets
We firmly believe that positive communication between parents and teachers goes a long way in improving the efficacy of education. We ensure active participation of parents in the teaching learning process. Open houses are conducted to discuss the progress of the students and positive suggestions for overall development and students.
CONCLUSION
Winners Public School grows day by day to its perfection by the grace of God and guidance and support of the management, teachers, and PTA. Above all with the good will and dedication of the teachers and strenuous efforts and hard work of students; we can make the school scale greater heights in the days to come.
