Winners Public School is an educational institution under Winners Trust managed by Sri.M P Vijayanathan which is functioning in a very calm and cool atmosphere conductive to health and education. The school is located at Kurumpalamattom in the Karimannoor village of Thodupuzha Taluk , Idukki district. The school is affiliated to CBSE with Affiliation No.930606 and follows curriculam and syllabus of CBSE New Delhi. The School functions up to Secondary level.
Winners public school is an excellent educational institution and a good platform to discuss the desires of the pupils with different innovative learning and thinking. To cater the needs of the Changing world, the student should be resourceful and should be given meaningful education .A vast area provides a perfect ambience for an aesthetically chartered school building. The school has 20 well ventilated classrooms, Composite Science Lab , Computer lab, Mathematical lab with necessary apparatus and an audio visual room to enrich and motivate the students to develop their skills. Being a Rural area, transport facility of the school makes the students to reach the school in time. Library books with 7 dailies ,weekly and monthly periodicals are provided to enrich the reading skill of students .Sufficient reference books are also available for all subjects to enhance the academic skill of students and teachers .The school has a very good court for sports activities .Many attractive items like Karatte , Volleyball Basketball ,Tug of War etc: takes place in the court. The Boxing Yard is another facility of School ground.
The school has been successful in imparting holistic education to the students under CBSE Curriculum and moulds them in to responsible and resourceful smart citizens.With this purpose in mind the new academic year commenced on 1ST June 2017. The year was amazing by an excellent result in class X. Full A1 to 7 students added a feather on the crown of School and others passed the exam with distinction. Principal availed this occasion to congratulate all of them and bestowed sincere thanks to all teachers, parents and management.
There are 23 teaching staff and 10 non- teaching staff. All teachers are blessed with competency and commitment. Mr. Joby Maria George was the staff secretary. Staff conferences were conducted at the end of the every month to discuss the progress of the students. Open houses are also conducted to evaluate students and to implement remedial measures for the weak students. The school functions from 9.45 am to 3.30pm. Morning and evening classes are conducted for Secondary section. There are 446 students are studied in this year
The progress of students and the success of the school largely depend upon the cooperation of the parents and teachers. The General Body of PTA was held on 10th June 2017. Dr. Kavalam Premkumar took class on Health Science and Preventive Measures against Dengue. Homeo preventive medicine also was distributed. Merit evening was conducted on this day to honor 10th class students. Mrs. Helan P J Senior Manager of Federal Bank, Karimannoor delivered a beneficiary speech. An Executive Committee consisting of 14 members were elected to guide the curricular and co curricular activities’. Mr. Rajesh Thomas elected as PTA President and Mrs. Remya Reji elected as an MPTA Chairperson. A few sitting of the committee was held to evaluate the progress of the students and functioning of the school. The planning for the year was also presented before the committee.
To impart the primary lessons of democracy in the students, the School Parliament Election was conducted. Master Anandu Sabu, kumari Jillymol Shiji and Abil Mani were elected as the Head Boy, Head Girl and Fine Arts Scretary respectively. The Investituture ceremony was also conducted.
Literary Association and Youth Festival
Literature is a criticism of life and is like a mirror held against nature. To bring out the talent traits in literature, literary associations were inaugurated by the School Manager. The school released a manuscript which contained first rate products of students. The youth festival was opened by Mrs. Shiny Augutine, Chairperson of Elemdesham Block Panchayat.
Seminar, Debates and Exhibition
In order to foster the talent of the students various seminars and debates were conducted under different subjects. A reading week was arranged to commemorate Mr PN Panickar, the founder of literary council. Exhibition on Mathematics, and Science, Work experience on social science, and IT were conducted at the school level.
Orientation programme for teachers
To update the new teaching methodology for the teachers, different learning seminars were conducted in school and outside centers. Two teachers attended two days CBP on Mathematics and Science. Principal and two teachers attended CBP training on remodelled assessment.
Co. Scholastic Assessment
To assess the co. scholastic level of students, various clubs such as Sports and Games, Mathrubhumi Seeds, Social Science, Maths and Language are functioning well. Classes on Yoga, Karate, Boxing, Tug of War, Basketball, Tenniqeit and Sepak Thakkare are also conducted under different instructors. The students are divided into four houses under the supervision of teachers. Captains were elected for healthy competitions. In this year Red and yellow house won the first and second places respectively. The sports meet was inaugurated by sub inspector of police Mr P S Subair from Karimannoor Police Station
A good number of students from our school participated in the Sahodaya Kalotsavam and bagged many prizes.
Medical camp and Nirbhaya
A class on Self Defense for girls was taken by the Police officers from Karimannoor Police Station and a Medical Camp was conducted for students by the doctors of PHC Karimanoor ,Rubella vaccine and TT were given to all the students. A class on preventive Measures was also conducted.

Tug of War and boxing national and state level
One of our students Lakhmi Shaju of class X won Silver medal at National level Tug of War competition held at Chandrapur in Maharashtra and at the State Level competition, two girl students competed vigorously and got selection to national level coaching camp. In boxing competition held at Kozhikode 3 students won Silver and 4 pupil won Bronze medal. In this year the school is lucky to have the mercy of state Sports Council and Boxing Federation of India to grant us a Boxing Ring which is the first in Kerala Cbse School
To foster communal ceremony we celebrated Onam , Ramadan, Christmas and National celebrations like independence day, Republic day. Etc. This year we spent the Christmas party along with the inmates of the Orphanage at Ezhumuttom. The School day celebration was also held with variety entertainments of students in January 2018.
Study tour is the part and parcel of students’ life and is an extension of class room learning . Students of class X visited Mysore. More trips were conducted for the lower classes one to Ayurveda Museum at Thrissur and the other to Malampuzha
